Punjab reserves one seat in varsities for Kashmiri migrants

Punjab government has reserved one seat for Kashmiri migrant students in various courses of universities and technical institutions from the current session.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said the state government has waived off the condition of domicile requirement for Kashmiri migrants.

The state government, after considering the guidelines issued by All India Council for Technical Education and Ministry of Human Resources Development, has reserved one seat in various courses at Thapar University, Punjabi University, engineering colleges and polytechnic colleges of the state.
