"Rahul should listen the tale of woes of terrorist victim families during his visit to Amritsar," said B R Hastir, chairman of All India Terrorist Victim Association.

He said there are a large number of families who have not been able to settle down even after two decades of "displacement".

"Rahul can fulfill the promise made by his mother and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi in June 2006 during a meeting of delegation of terrorism-affected families in Delhi," he said.

He said that in 2006, the then chief minister Amarinder Singh had sent a proposal to the Centre for providing a relief package of Rs 781 crore for the affected families.

Rahul will be arriving in Amritsar tomorrow.
