Punjab government today said it will set up an ultra modern industrial estate spread over 300 acres at village Dhanansu in the vicinity of Ludhiana.
It is also aimed at providing alternative business activities to the existing units running in the residential areas, thereby reducing pollution in the city.
Disclosing this in a meeting held here, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said this exclusive industrial zone would further develop Ludhiana as it is being set up on the vital Amritsar-Kolkata industrial corridor.
