Punjab wrestler Abdul Gani lifts Bambyal Kesari title

The 57th Annual Bambyal Kesari Dangal 2012 was organised by Dangal Committee Bambyal under the aegis of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Bambyal, 34kms from here, under the supervision of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma.

Gani won the bout in 11 minutes and he was awarded with cash prize of Rs 15,000. Amit got Rs 12,000.

In the second main bout, Jakker of Sarore (Jammu) beat Soffian of Panipat (Haryana). Rs 4,000 was awarded to Jakker while Rs 3,000 was given to Soffian.

Third main bout was fought between Yasheen of Alamgir and Tinku of Rohtak (Harayana). This bout was won by Yasheen who got Rs 3,000 while Tinku got Rs 2,000.

 

Fourth bout was won by Kulbir Singh of Kot Bhawal Jammu who defeated Teg Ali of Mallerkotla. The fifth bout was won by Asaf of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu who defeated Murad Ali of Domana and the sixth bout was won by Kaka of Namashara who defeated Kalu of Bishnah.
