"The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir V Putin will pay an official visit to India on December 24, 2012, for the 13th Annual India-Russia Summit," official spokesperson in the Ministry of External Affairs said here.
Asked about the change in dates of visit, he said the dates were not officially announced before.
However, sources said there were some "domestic issues" in Russia due to which the President's visit has been delayed.
