Tata Power Delhi Distribution is following up for payment of electricity dues with PWD officials since May last year and have written several letters requesting for immediate release of amount in order to avoid any inconvenience to residents of North and North-West Delhi, the official added.
"However, PWD seems non- committal on the immediate release of payment and has adopted a dilly-dialing approach which has resulted in the disconnection of streetlights in Ashok Vihar, Keshavpuram, Model Town, Shastri Nagar, Shalimarbagh and Rohini areas," the official alleged.
