Qatar Airways will be reinstating its non-stop flights between Doha and Nagpur from December to tap the increasing demand on various routes to India, the carrier has announced.
The re-instated service will take the airline's total weekly passenger flights from 95 to 102 across 13 key cities in India.
Qatar Airways had previously served Nagpur from September 2007 to May 2009.

"Reinstating the Doha-Nagpur route is part of Qatar Airways' strategy to service increasing demand by providing the best possible flying experience to our customers in India.
"Today, India has the largest number of destinations served by our carrier across any market and we will continue to look for more destinations and additional flights to expand our reach in the Indian subcontinent," Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker said.
Qatar Airways will operate a daily A320 on the route between Doha and Nagpur from December 1, with an average flight time of just over four hours.
A new economic zone and airport are being planned in Nagpur, which are likely to increase the attractiveness of Nagpur and Qatar Airways will be poised to meet the demand in the market, Al Baker said.
Qatar Airways currently offers flights from 12 cities in India via its hub in Doha to Barcelona, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, London, Miami, New York, Paris, Philadelphia, Rome, Washington D.C. And more.
