5.34 on the Richter scale today shook Assam and parts of Northeast but there was no report of any damage or casualty.
According to officials, the epicentre of the earthquake was near Nagaon in central Assam.
Last week also, a moderate intensity earthquake, having the same epicentre, hit Assam and parts of NE.
