Quake hits northwest Pakistan

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on Richter Scale today jolted northwest Pakistan.

No loss of life or property was reported.

According to a geological report, the quake originated from the bordering area of Afghanistan and Tajikistan at a depth of 118 kilometers.

The tremors were also felt in Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
