The annual quality assurance conclave of Indian Air Force's Maintenance Command was today held at Base Repair Depot in Sulur on the outskirts of the city.
Topics like Six Sigma, BIS accreditation, Quality Assurance, effectiveness of quality assurance in production, supply chain management and preservation, inspection and packing at equipment depots was the focus of the conclave, which was attended by about 100 Air Warriors.
It provided a common platform for quality assurance representatives from the field to interact among themselves and Command staff, an official release said here.

Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, inaugurated the conclave, which was also attended by Deputy Senior Maintenance Staff Officer, Maintenance Command, Air Officer Commanding and Chief Quality Officers of all Base Repair Depots and Equipment Depots.
