Tarantino is known for popping up in roles of varying sizes in his own films, including "Inglourious Basterds", "Death Proof" and "Reservoir Dogs".

He even took some lines of one of his cast, Rex Linn in "Django Unchained" because he liked a particular scene so much, reported Digital Spy online.

"Quentin told me that he liked the scene so much he wanted to be in it, too, and that he would also be taking some of my lines. So, you'll know the scenes when you see them.

"We'll be on the screen with Don Johnson and Jonah Hill. The scenes may not be long, but you will remember them," Linn said.

"Django Unchained" will hit theatres in the US on December 25 and January 18 in the UK.
