Quess Corp Ltd, subsidiary of Thomas Cook (India) Ltd, today reported over four-fold rise in consolidated profit at Rs 140.5 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted consolidated profit of Rs 30.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, Quess Corp Ltd said in a filing to BSE.
The company's consolidated total income increased to Rs 1,290.6 crore, over Rs 1,023 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
The company further said the board of directors in a meeting held today approved acquisitions of "Vedang Cellular Services Pvt Ltd (70 per cent equity) with an investment up to Rs 40 crore (and) Trimax Smart Infraprojects Pvt Ltd (51 per cent equity) with an investment of up to Rs 2 crore.
