Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi today expressed deep grief at the passing away of senior Congress leader A R Antulay, saying he had lost a close friend.
Recalling the former Maharashtra chief Minister's contribution to the development of the state, the Governor said his demise was an irreparable loss for the country's political sphere.
Qureshi said his family shared a closed bonding with that of Antulay's.
Antulay died at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital today after a prolonged illness.
