The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) today claimed that review of Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) by the Raghubar Das government would serve no purpose in the face of central ordinance on the Land Acquisition Act.
"The ordinance on Land Acquisition Act will have its impact in the whole country. We have been raising the issue since the election campaigning and the truth has come out now," claimed JMM leader and former chief minister Hemant Soren.
"Debate on R&R can take place only after what we will see following the ordinance," the leader of the opposition told the media here.
