R S Suri elected as SCBA president

Senior advocates R S Suri and Ajit Kumar Sinha have been elected as President and vice-president respectively of the prestigious Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).

While Suri has been elected as the President after defeating senior advocate Vikas Singh by 19 votes, Sinha was elected as Vice-President for the second time leaving behind his colleague Ranji Thomas by a margin of 111 votes.

Advocate Gaurav Bhatia retained his post as Secretary after defeating advocate Rachana Srivastava by a margin of 135 votes.
