Radha Mohan Singh releases book 'Kamdhenu - Cows of India'

Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh said a national breeding centre for cows has been established in Andhra Pradesh and location for another one would soon be identified in Madhya Pradesh for protection of cows.

Singh said this while speaking after a launching a book 'Kamadhenu - Cows of India' authored by Haryana's additional Chief Secretary Rajni Sekhri Sibal, that contains detailed information about indigenous breeds of cows in India.

The Agriculture Minister said scientists, leaders and officers should place national interest first.

This book, he said should also be published in Hindi.

Member NITI Aayog Bibek Debroy and former Chief Election Commissioner of India S Y Quraishi also spoke.
