Radical Sikh leaders meet, raise Khalistan demand

Some radical Sikh leaders, led by Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann, today discussed strategy for upcoming Lok Sabha polls at a meeting here today.

The leaders also raised the Khalistan (separate Sikh homeland) demand at the meeting, Mann said.

The SAD (Amritsar) chief said he "still supports the Khalistan movement and the Sikh community abroad also favours it."

The Sikh leaders at the meeting discussed the strategy for the coming Parliamentary elections, Mann said.
