Liquor firm Radico Khaitan today posted a 28.12 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 22.46 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016, on the back of higher sales.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.53 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Total income from operations of the company also increased by 18.71 per cent to Rs 1,211.36 crore for the second quarter compared with Rs 1,020.37 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal, Radico Khaitan said in a BSE filing.
Shares of Radico Khaitan closed 2.46 per cent lower, at Rs 135 on BSE.
