Radico Khaitan Q4 profit up 50% to Rs 14.90 cr

The company had posted a profit of Rs 9.90 crore in the year-ago period

Liquor firm Radico Khaitan today reported 50.5 per cent increase in its standalone net profit at Rs 14.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

The company had posted a profit of Rs 9.90 crore in the year-ago period, Radico Khaitan said in a filing to the BSE.

However, net sales declined 2.96 per cent to Rs 332.50 crore during the quarter, as against Rs 342.66 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.

During 2014-15 fiscal, the company's net profit was down 5.08 per cent to Rs 67.63 crore as against Rs 71.25 crore in the year-ago period.
 

Its net sales during 2014-15 was up 2.28 per cent to Rs 1,444.50 crore as against Rs 1,412.18 crore a year ago.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing Radico Khaitan said that its board today recommended a dividend of Rs 0.80 on fully paid up equity share of Rs 2 each for 2014-15 fiscal.

The company's premium product portfolio includes Magic Moments Vodka, Morpheus Brandy, After Dark Whiskey, among others

Shares of Radico Khaitan today closed at Rs 91.05 a piece on BSE, up 0.77 per cent from their previous close.
