Ritesh Sidhwani, producer of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "Raees", has stated that he has no plans of rescheduling the upcoming film's Eid 2016 release to avoid clash with Salman Khan's "Sultan".
Ritesh took to Twitter to clear the speculation that the makers of "Raees" would change the scheduled date after Sultan's release was announced.
"We had announced in February that we will be releasing our film on EID 2016 and we are on schedule to release it as planned #RaeesOnEid2016," Ritesh tweeted.

"Sultan" is produced by Aditya Chopra and written-directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Shooting of the film will commence from November this year.
It is not the first time that the "Karan Arjun" stars are clashing at the box office. "Don" and "Jaaneman" had released on the Diwali of 2006.
Generally, the Khans, whose films are big ticket events, avoid releasing their films on the same date with Salman preferring Eid, Shah Rukh Diwali and Aamir for Christmas.
