Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today inaugurated the much awaited Garga bridge in Bokaro and also laid foundation stones of 12 other schemes at an estimated cost of Rs 53.72 crore.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Das said in the next two years, many quality bridges would be constructed in the state, which would help in expanding the road network.

"Bridges connect people and reduce distance," he said.

Laying stress on rain water harvesting as a solution to drinking water woes, Das appealed the people to make proper use of water.
