Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today issued orders to suspend an executive engineer for allegedly giving misleading information about replacement of a transformer at Meherma panchayat in Godda district.
The action against Executive Engineer Ashok Upadhyay posted in Godda district was taken after Godda Deputy Commissioner found that the information about replacement of the transformer was 'wrong.'
The Chief Minister also asked to initiate a departmental inquiry against Upadhyay.
The matter came to light during the Chief Minister's 'Jan Samvad' programme, a direct interaction with the people, on October 30.
