Taking a dig at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, BJP national secretary Rameshwar Chaurasia today said the Congress scion was neither sincere nor able to lead the country.

Addressing a function on the occasion of "Vijay Sankalp Padyatra" here, the BJP leader criticised the Congress, SP and the BSP.

Claiming that the people were disenchanted with Rahul, Chaurasia said the media should also show empty chairs in rallies addressed by the Congress leader.

On a question of Rahul becoming the next Prime Minister, he said how a person, who criticises his own PM and talks of tearing an ordinance and throwing it into a dustbin, could lead the country.

Chaurasia alleged that Congress was playing more dangerous a game than the Emergency and was conspiring to eliminate constitutional institutions, besides misusing CBI.

He alleged that the SP and BSP had been the biggest hurdle in the development of the biggest state of the country.

Claiming that both the parties have no existence at the national level, he alleged that they have been supporting the Congress-led UPA government for five years and were now criticising it.
