With assembly elections in Delhi due in the coming months, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today asked for ensuring a greater coordination between the government and the party to ensure a fourth successive victory.

Rahul had a meeting with Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and PCC chief Jai Prakash Aggarwal to review the working of the state unit ahead of the polls.

Ahmed Patel, political secretary to congress President Sonia Gandhi and party general secretaries Janardhan Dwivedi and Birender Singh were also present during the deliberations. Singh is in-charge of party affairs in Delhi.

Rahul had met party leaders in Delhi only last month during which he had sent out a clear message that indiscipline will not be tolerated by him.

"The Congress president is soft. But I am not soft. I will not tolerate indiscipline. We must work unitedly," Rahul had said.
