Former BJP president Venkaiah Naidu today said that contrary to the allegation of Congress president Sonia Gandhi against party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, her son Rahul was making mockery of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
"Criticising BJP, Sonia said that Modi is making a mockery of the PM.... It is not Modi, but her son Rahul Gandhi is making mockery of the PM," Naidu alleged while talking to reporters here.
The senior BJP leader said that it was Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi who termed the controversial Ordinance on convicted lawmakers as nonsense and said that it should be torn and thrown away.

He said that instead of blaming BJP, Congress should do some introspection.
Congress chief Sonia Gandhi had yesterday said the "whole party stands behind" Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was attacked by BJP's prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi the day before.
On the letter written by Union Minister Sushilkumar Shinde to States not to wrongly arrest innocent Muslims in the name of terrorism, Naidu alleged that it was politically motivated with an eye on vote bank.
He demanded that Shinde should withdraw the letter.
The BJP leader claimed that there was a wave across the country in favour of Modi and political equations would change after the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Naidu said that BJP would not make an agreement with the SP and BSP as they were equally responsible for the "sins" of Congress-led UPA government.
Accusing the ruling SP of implementing the policy of minority appeasement Naidu said that it would boomerang.
The BJP leader said he held a meeting with the state office-bearers in which it was planned to organise conventions at Lok Sabha constituency level to know the strength and weakness of the party, besides a "Maha Kumbh" of the workers would be held in Lucknow.
