Congress President Rahul Gandhi may participate in the next phase of the bus yatra undertaken by the party in Telangana, Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Uttam Kumar Reddy said today.
Gandhi was briefed about the success of the 'Praja Chaitanya bus yatra,' he told reporters here.
"Rahul Gandhi has agreed to participate in the next phase of bus yatra which would be finalised in a day or two," he said.
The yatra is meant to educate the masses about the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi party's "misdeeds."
Reddy said the date and venue where Gandhi is expected to join the yatra would be finalised soon.
He said the Congress president was satisfied with various agitational programmes and other activities being organised by the state leadership.
Gandhi congratulated two Congress MLAs - Komatireddy Venkatreddy and A.Sampath Kumar, whose expulsion from the Assembly was set aside by the Hyderabad High Court, Reddy added.
