Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi today met a group of aggrieved home buyers of the city and assured them of help in raising the issue at the appropriate forums.
"I met the home buyers. They had met me in Delhi and some said that I should meet them here also, so I met them. They have an important issue that is very similar to the issue I had been raising regarding land acquisition, which is just for a different section of the society, but the issue is the same," Gandhi told reporters after a brief meeting with the home buyers representatives.
"They have committed certain things and as citizens they have certain rights and that is what we discussed," he said.
