Rahul refuses to comment on Modi's statement

In a blog, Modi said that came out with a long statement in a blog saying he was "shaken to the core"

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today parried questions on Narendra Modi's comments that he had felt "pain" and "anguish" over the 2002 Gujarat riots.

"The issue here is about building a framework against corruption. Let's not confuse the issue here," he said at a press conference when asked to comment on Modi's statement.

Coming out perhaps for the first time, the Gujarat Chief Minister, who has been often attacked over the 2002 post-Godhra riots today said he felt "liberated and at peace" in the wake of the clean chit given by a local court to him.
