"Rahul Gandhi will meet representatives of the panchayat bodies in Ranchi on September 25 and on the next day, he will go to Bokaro to address the youth Congress members," JPCC Chief and Rajya Sabha member Pradeep Kumar Balmachu said here.
The AICC General Secretary will take stock of the situation being faced by the representatives of the local bodies, Balmachu said.
Recently the representatives of panchayat bodies, constituted in Jharkhand nearly two years ago, had held a demonstration demanding devolution of powers.
Balmachu said Rahul will also meet state Congress leaders and sitting and former legislators during his two-day visit.
