Another person, accused in the killing of four Trinamool activists in Raidighi on June 14 night, was arrested today, taking the total number of arrests in the case to seven, police said.
Alamgir Mollah, a CPI(M) activist, was arrested from Kashinagar and produced in the ACJM's court in Diamond Harbour which remanded him to seven days police custody, SP Pravin Kumar Tripathy said.
Five CPI(M) activists, including the party's zonal secretary Bimal Bhandari was arrested on June 17, a day after the ruling Trinamool Congress had lodged an FIR against 21 marxist activists including former minister Kanti Ganguly.

Four TMC workers were hacked to death at Khanri near Raidighi police station on the night of June 14 while they were returning from a party meeting. Three more TMC workers were injured in a bomb attack and were admitted to the Diamond Harbour district hospital.
