A freight train carrying wagons of sugar reached here yesterday following clearance of debris and rubble and passenger trains have also started coming, sources in NF Railways said.
Due to heavy torrential rain, landslides occurred in at least ninety places on June 25 leading to blockade of the railway tracks and stranding of thousands of passengers.
Sources said as the tracks and bridges were damaged badly due to inundation, it would take one or two days more to restore passenger service.
