Railway services on Jammu-Pathankot route were resumed this evening after being blocked following derailment of a Jammu-bound goods train.
Nearly 17 trains on Jammu-Pathankot rail route got delayed for several hours due to the derailment, officials said.
Three bogies of the goods train, which was on its way from Delhi to Jammu, derailed soon after crossing the Kathua railway station this morning.
The cause of the derailment could not be known immediately, officials said.
Rescue operation team from Jammu reached at the spot and traffic was restored.
