RailTel in collaboration with NGO Sewa Bharti, launched mobile medicare units here to provide doorstep medical services to the poor and needy at various slum areas of Delhi, a statement from the railway PSU said on Monday.

The medicare to be operated by Sewa Bharti, a registered NGO under the societies act, was flagged off by minister of state for railways Suresh Angadi.

The mobile dispensary will have a doctor and support staff to provide basic medical care to people, who either cannot afford or visit a hospital due to ill health/financial conditions, at their doorstep.
