Chairman of the Railway Board Ashwani Lohani today instructed officials to bring about changes in work culture in every sphere and urged them to deliver with changed attitude.
Lohani, also an ex-officio Principal Secretary, Government of India, was reviewing the performance of the South Eastern Railway (SER) in a meeting with the top officials led by General Manager S N Agarwal at the SER Headquarter at Garden Reach here, a railway statement said.
Laying emphasis on safety with special focus on track maintenance and cleanliness in trains as well as stations, Lohani held elaborate discussions on SERs earnings from freight and passenger traffic and capacity enhancement of railway projects.

"Changes in work culture and changed attitude of the officials and workers in the railway will definitely bring about a total change with enhanced safety, track maintenance, cleanliness and revenue earnings," Lohani said.
Before conducting the meeting, Lohani inspected SER Central Hospital, Garden Reach, to witness the upgraded medical facilities available.
