Railway signs MoU with South Korea

The Railway Ministry today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korea in Seoul to increase the cooperation between the two countries in the sector.

The MoU was signed by Chairman Railway Board Arunendra Kumar and Yeo Hyung Koo, Vice Minister, Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) of South Korea.

The MoU would enable technical assistance and cooperation between the Railways of the two countries on areas such as high speed rail, modernisation of rolling stock, railway operations, modernisation of signalling, construction and maintenance technologies and in development of logistics parks and terminals.
