Railways decide to short terminate some trains

With the weather deaprtment predicting heavy rains, the East Coast Railway today decided to short terminate some of its trains in Kottavalasa-Koraput -Kirandul and Koraput-Rayagada railway sections in view of the passengers' safety.

Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur Hirakhand Express scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar today will be short terminated at Rayagada and will return back as Hirakhand Express from Rayagada to Bhubaneswar on tomorrow evening.

Durg-Jagadalpur Express which left Durg yesterday has been short terminated at Titlagarh and will return back to Durg from Titlagarh today, an official release said.

Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express, which left Howrah yesterday, will be short terminated at Rayagada today and will return back to Howrah as Samaleswari Express from Rayagada to Howrah tomorrow, it said.
 

Similarly, Sambalpur-Koraput Passenger train scheduled to leave Sambalpur today will run upto Rayagada and will remain cancelled between Rayagada and Koraput.

Rourkela-Koraput Inter City Express leaving Rourkela today will run upto Rayagada and will return back to Rourkela from Rayagada tomorrow. "This train will remain cancelled between Rayagada and Koraput," it said.

Besides, the ECoR also decided that Visakhapatnam-Koraput Express scheduled to leave Visakhapatnam today and Koraput -Visakhapatnam Express scheduled to leave Koraput tomorrow (30.08.2014) will remain cancelled, it said.
