Railways retain national women Kabaddi crown

Star-studded Indian Railways retained the title of the 64th Senior National Women Kabaddi Championship here after defeating Haryana by 20-15 in the finals at Patliputra Sports Complex today.

The half time score was 13-8 in favour of Railways.

Railways earned 1 bonus and 2 lona points, while Haryana bagged 2 bonus points during the 40-minute battle.

Tejeshwini and Payal Chaudhury earned most of valuable points for the winners.

Payal Choudhury of Railways and Sakhshi Kumari of Haryana were awarded with best raider and the best defender trophy, respectively.
