Rain and thunder showers likely in Kerala, Lakshadweep

Rain and thunder showers are most likely to occur at few places in Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next five days.

Strong winds from Northwesterly direction with a speed occasionally reaching 45-55 kmph is likely to hit along and off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep area during the next 24 hours from 1400 hrs, a weather bulletin said.

Rain was recorded in few places in the state while dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep.

Thiruvananthapuram recorded 4.5 mm rain today, it added.
