Light to moderate rains occurred at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh even as weather remained dry in other parts of the state.
Night temperature rose appreciably in Agra division and Jhansi, and fell in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Faizabad, Aligarh, Lucknow, the MeT office said here.
The temperature changed little in the remaining divisions of the state, it added.
They were appreciably below normal in Kanpur, Lucknow divisions and normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
Lowest minimum temperature over the state was 8.5 degrees Celsius recorded at Nazibabad.
Weatherman has forecast that rain and thundershowers would occur at few places in west UP and at isolated places in eastern districts of the state.
