Rain drenches Himachal Pradesh

The heaviest rainfall of 164 mm was seen here followed by Kufri-64, Gaggal-53, Solan-44, Kasauli-37, Kheri-33 and Manali-31, the MeT department said.

Rainfall occurred at Dharmpur-30, Bilaspur-29, Jogindernaga-25, Nurpur-21, Palampur-20, Una & Guler-19 each, Dalhousie-17, Mashobra & Bhoranj-16 each, Chamba-14, Nagrota Suriyan-13, Saloni and Dehra Gopipur-11 each.

There was, however, no appreciable change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the last 24 hours.

The lowest temperature was recorded in Kalpa at 14.4 degrees C and the maximum in Una at 32.4 degrees C.

Rain and thundershowers are predicted at most places in Himachal for the next five days.
