Rain and hailstorm lashed parts of Rajasthan leading to a drop in temperature with Pilani recording a maximum rainfall of 28 mm.
A temporary western disturbance arising from Bay of Bengal hit the north-eastern districts of Ganganagar, Churu, Hanumangarh, Churu and Jaipur this afternoon, a Meteorological department report said.
Hailstorm were also occurred in parts of Hanumangarh district late in the evening while moderate rain occurred in Alwar districts.

Meanwhile, Phaldoi recorded the maximum temperature of 40 degree C followed by Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Churu in the range of 39 to 39.7 degree C.
