The Siddipet district administration today sought financial help to the tune of Rs 212.44 crores from a Central team of officials that visited the district to ascertain the damages caused by recent heavy rains.
The team witnessed a photo exhibition on the damages and interacted district Collector P Venkatarama Reddy and other officials, a state government release said.
The Collector, who submitted a report to the Central team, sought an assistance of Rs 212.44 crores, including irrigation department Rs 29.41 crores, Panchayat Raj Rs 90.35 crores and agriculture Rs 6.32 crore, the release added.
