Monsoon was active over major parts of Rajasthan today while Govindgarh in Ajmer district recorded the state's maximum rainfall of 11-cm.
According to a MeT report, heavy rains lashed several places of Udaipur, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota and Bikaner divisions since last night.
Intermittent rains also continued on the second day today in state capital Jaipur and adjoining places with the rain gauge recording 10-mm.

Kotkasim recorded a maximum rainfall of 10-cm; followed by Akelara 9-cm; Saramathura and Bali 8-cm each; Sirohi, Anta, Salumber, Mount Abu and Pachpahar 7-cm each; Deeg, Sawaimadhopur, Amet, Manoharthana, Didwana, Sardarshahar 6-cm each, and one to five cm at a number of places in the state.
Monsoon rains will continue in eastern Rajasthan in the next 24 hours, according to the MeT forecast.
