Moderate to heavy rains accompanied by thundershowers lashed over many parts in western Uttar Pradesh while it occurred at isolated places in eastern parts of the state during last 24 hours.
According to MeT office, Kanpur received 9 cms of rainfall, followed by Thakurdwara 7 cms, Unnao 6 cms, Hardoi, Bareilly and Elgin Bridge (Barabanki) each 4 cms, Ayodhya and Pilibhit 3 cms each.
MeT office, in a forecast, said rain or thundershowers may occur at isolated places in east UP tomorrow.
