Few spells of rain or thundershower is expected in different parts of West Bengal over the next two days even as monsoon remained subdued in the state.
The districts in south Bengal are likely to receive thunderstorm with rain in the next two days, while in sub-Himalayan districts, one or two spells of rain has been forecast by the weatherman.
Asansol, in western past of West Bengal, received the state's highest rainfall at 24 mm, while Darjeeling, in the north, received 14.2 mm precipitation, the second highest in 24 hours since yesterday morning.
