Isolated places in western Uttar Pradesh witnessed light to moderate rain and thundershowers even as weather remained mainly dry over eastern parts of the state.
According to MeT office, Moradabad and Muzaffarnagar received the chief amount of rainfall 1 cm each, while moderate fog occurred at isolated places over the state.
The Lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded in Nazibabad at a low of 06.5 degrees Celsius.

Night temperature fell in Meerut division and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.
They were largely below normal in Jhansi division, markedly above normal in Agra division, appreciably above normal in Varanasi, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Faizabad, Bareilly, Moradabad, Meerut divisions and were normal in Gorakhpur division.
The MeT office forecast that weather would be mainly dry over the state and moderate fog would occur at isolated places.
