Rains in several parts of Himachal Pradesh brought down the day temperatures in the state on Tuesday, with Karsog being the wettest with 70 mm of rainfall, the meteorological department here said.
Following rains since Monday, maximum temperatures dropped by two to three notches at several places in the state. Chamba recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 29.6 degrees Celsius.
Nagrota Surian received 58 mm of rains, followed by Jogindernagar and Dharamshala (44 mm each), Kufri (37 mm), Bhoranj (36 mm), Sarkaghat (35 mm), Kumarsain (30 mm), Paonta Sahib (27 mm), Shimla and Sundernagar (24 mm each), Nadaun (22 mm), Janjehli (18 mm), Palampur (17 mm) and Mandi (12 mm), the weatherman said.
