Rains bring down temperature in Delhi

Delhi today received intermittant rains which brought the temperatures to below normal.

The national capital witnessed 6.9 millimetres of rains between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM. The maximum temperature dropped by two notches settling at 32 degrees Celsius, MeT department said.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.3 degrees Celsius, which was normal for this time of the season.

Rains made a come back in the national capital on Tuesday after a dry spell. Yesterday, the maximum temperature was 36.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 26.8 deg C.

The humidity level oscillated between 75 and 91 per cent.

MeT department has predicted a cloudy sky tomorrow with possibility of light rain or thundershowers in some areas.
 

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
