Rains bring down temperatures in Rajasthan

Temperatures today came down at some places in Rajasthan after Thursday's rains, even as heat wave conditions persisted in other parts of the state.

Ajmer, Jaipur, Kota and Bikaner received light to moderate rainfall during past 24 hours. Railmagra town recorded 5 cm of rainfall, while Mandana, Bengu and Dungla areas recorded 3 cm of rainfall.

Churu was the hottest place in the state with a high of 47 degrees, followed by Bikaner, which registered a maximum temperature of 45.6 degrees Celsius.
