Heat wave conditions abated in Rajasthan today due to light to moderate rain at isolated places.
Mercury plummeted by one to five degree Celsius at many places in the state due to dust storm and thundershowers in last 24 hours, a MeT report said.
Kota was the hottest place with 41.4 degree Celsius followed by Ganganagar 40.9, and Churu 39.6 degree Celsius.
People of Jaipur and its sub-urban towns got a big respite from scorching heat as squall accompanied by thundershower hit intermittently, since last night.
Jaipur recorded a maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius, about one degree less than normal.
Dusty or thundershower conditions would prevail over the state in next 24 hours, a forecast said.
